A Breast Lover's Tragedy

I must admit... I am embarrassed to have discovered this info on my own... yet honest enough to admit it. I went through the KFC drive through tonight.

Many will tell you that the grease soaked chicken available there is a good friend to our taste buds (for some of us) and arch enemies with our heart muscles (for all of us).

As shocking as it may be, perhaps it was Devine Intervention when I happened to go through the drive through of the KFC (Kentucky Fried Chicken) franchise on the 100 Highway in Cabo Rojo, and was told by the order taker that they had no breast meat.

I know that supply chain management is very complex and a profession all unto itself. However, I would think that KFC could keep chicken breasts in stock. It's just a turnkey chicken joint... follow the manual... point and cluck...

In summary: Thank-you KFC for apparently mismanaging your chicken supply ordering, and saving my heart from a massive influx of saturated fat.

For the record: I wanted rotisserie chicken from Martin's BBQ at the new plaza on the 100 in Cabo Rojo, but they over-season. Are those chickens pre-soaked for 48 hours in the Playa Sucia salt flats at El Faro? Tastes like it... Also a no-no for the blood pressure.

Where do all those breasts come from?

Why are some locations better than others?
