This is a brainstorm - and I hope that it gets read by several high school and university students who love their country and would be interested in being a part of change. You are the future of Puerto Rico. The current generation of adults are allowing it to wither.
Imagine if we took on a project like this with the enthusiasm of seeing "Twilight: New Moon" on the first day of showing. I can tell you were excited about that. My "el Cine" hits when through the roof yesterday.
To the left you see the blue/green sign. It can be made from a simple piece of cardboard painted in two colors, and pitched into the ground with a coat hanger or wooden peg (or used Fortuno campaign sign).
And for what?
Carry a few signs with you along with some bags. Every time you find an excessive dump of trash on the ground in Puerto Rico, whether it be outside a home or business, on the road side, or on the beach... pick up the trash and dispose of it using your bags. And plant your sign for all to see that you're committed to keeping Puerto Rico clean and blue.
When enough signs appear, the media will take notice, and you'll be a part of a movement for a cleaner Puerto Rico.
YOU have the power to start.
When all that is left on the ground is green and blue signs, you can pick those up too, and then celebrate the clean new Puerto Rico you helped create.
