Casey Anthony may slip away to Puerto Rico to hide away from media and public attention in Florida says Jane Velez-Mitchell.

Velez-Mitchell has heard rumors that Anthony may head to Puerto Rico as a "retreat" or to "lay low", although she is doubtful Puerto Rican citizens will be too happy about that.

There is widespread public belief that Casey Anthony was responsible for the death of her child, Caley Anthony. However, Anthony was found guilty only of lying to police and is scheduled to be set free after considering time already served.

For those that believe Casey Anthony might really have murdered her child, there is some irony in having her head to the US Commonwealth with the highest (and perhaps out of control) murder rate.

Note: Jose Baez, her lawyer, is Puerto Rican and may have suggested shuttling her off to Puerto Rico to be the best option for her at this time.
