I can hear the sounds of the cars passing on the street nearby, and occasionally hear the sounds of someone blasting reggaeton. Blah.
Aside: Why do the blasters always seem to have bad stereo systems and cars that performed a small miracle (or bribe) in getting their safety inspection approved?
It's Puerto Rico. If you're going to hear something loud from the street, it's usually either reggaeton or the annoying "drive by advertisement blasters".
However, much to my surprise, I just now realized that I was hearing something very different blast out of the open window of a passing car... A Crazy Little Thing Called Love... in English... by classic country music star Dwight Yokum.
Am I entering the Twilight Zone? What an interesting person that must have been... A Dwight Yokum fan in Cabo Rojo. Who knew?
